The Telemachia is Michael Barnes
Selvin’s debut novel.  As a vice
president in financing services, he
published numerous technical works
and articles on business and finance.
Departing the corporate world, he
returned to his abiding passion:
historical fiction.  He and his wife live
in Berkeley and Sea Ranch, California,
and on the Mediterranean in Banyuls-
sur-Mer, France, where Homer still
resonates.  Just as Telemachus and his
wife, Polycasté, they feel fortunate to
have raised two fine sons.
